APPROACH
Bela Padila is a multi-awarded TV and film actor, acclaimed screenwriter, film director, author, and producer from Manila, Philippines. She moved to London last year and has since written, directed, and starred in a co-production between her own film company (Whiskey Marmalade Ltd.) and a Korean production for her latest movie “If” which will be released in the second quarter of 2023.
She is currently in the pre-production phase for her next film “WHITE NOISE” which will be shot entirely in Switzerland.

- Focus of script on lives of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and their struggles – 10.2 million OFW‘s and 1.2 million are irregular migrants
- Whiskey Marmalade is challenging many of the irregularities in the Filipino film industry by giving its creatives intellectual property rights, respecting security laws and guidelines, and paying its staff fair salaries before the completion of its projects.
- Whiskey Marmalade is also launching the web3.0-based, co-creation platform, AndRoll, to involve and educate inspiring filmmakers and fans by taking part in votes on pre- and post-production decisions of the White Noise film.
